My favorite movie is "Gone with the Wind."

It is a very old American spectacular drama. As I saw it some decades ago, when I was a high school student, I forgot the details of the movie. But , the famous last word said by the heroine, Scarlet Ohara putting up her right hand in the sky with a fist was really impressed to a 18-year-old girl.

"Tomorrow is another day."

It became my most favorite word as well as my motto in my life.

My worst movie is "Star Wars."

It is a SF directed by George Lucas in 1977. Although many people like this movie, I don't understand why it is so good, because I fell asleep during the movie. However, as this movie was very much influenced by a Japanese movie,"Seven Samurai" directed by Akira Kurosawa in 1954, it might be interesting if you compare these two movies. I would be glad if you do that and let me know your impression.

Hello!
My name is Emiko. I'm a mother of three children, and a senior at a women's college in Yokohama, Japan. This blog is created for the purpose of the Internet class at the request of my teacher, Papa Globetrotter, who is eager to let us learn skills about the Internet and let us know the way communicating with other people through the Internet. So, I want to talk with you both in my blog and yours.

Why did I name my blog as "Go for it!"?
As I'm an active person, I always try something special, at least for me, that other people of my age likely do not want to. For example, I'm enrolled by a college long after being graduated from a junior college. (In Japan, adult people rarely go back to school after thier graduation.)

What is my interest?
My special interest is to improve my skills in English not only as a learner but also as a certified teacher of English at junior/sinior high school. My present goals are:

1. to pass the EIKEN first grade.
2. to obtain a score more than 950 in TOEIC test.

Of course, I have more interest other than English like music, musicals, travelling, and so on.

You can do anything if you really want to. Try it and go for it!
