The result of EIKEN was...
Failed!!!!!
Ten more points would have been necessary to pass the first grade. I'm very sad. The score of the essay part was worse than I had expected. However, the total score was my best ever. The vocaburary part, and the reading part were much better than ever. So, I have to make more effots to improve the listening part and the essay part. I'll never, never give it up . Next try will be in January . I'll restart to prepare for it today. Go for it, Emiko!!!

Hi, cinnamon.
Thank you for visiting my blog and cheer me up. I do hope I can pass it next time, because it will be my tenth try since 2004.

Wow. You have a such a motivation and big dreams! I is great because you can achieve more becaue of that.
Last year I passed the Japanese Proficiency Test, 2nd grade. (I might try 1-kyuu in 4 or 5 years. It is very difficult, like the English test!) At first, I thought it was a waste of time to study because the test doesn't reflect your true ability to communicate. But when I decided to take the test, it motivated me to study harder and I could improve my overall level.
But one thing I don't like about these tests in Japan is that they are pass-no pass. Maybe it can motivating, but it can also be depressing if you come close but don't pass. I prefer tests like TOIEC and TOEFL because they give you a score no matter what.

Hi, papa caleb. Thank you for your vist. How hard worker you are! You should be proud of yourself.
I don't like the system of EIKEN either; however, I need to pass it to be a certified teacher of English.
I hope both of us will pass "1-kyuu" in some future. Let's go for it!
